Research Collaboration for LA28 and Beyond

On April 15, 2025, the Mobility Center of Excellence hosted a workshop at UCLA with industry, government, and research leaders to explore how the research community can support the deployment of emerging mobility technologies and improve cross-agency coordination. The workshop focused on identifying Los Angeles–specific needs for scaling new mobility solutions and strengthening the local community of practice. This report highlights key takeaways and potential research projects discussed during the event.
